Tyvek® 400 garments are manufactured from flash spun high-density polyethylene, resulting in a unique nonwoven material exclusively available from DuPont. This fabric strikes an optimal balance of protection, durability, and comfort among limited use fabric technologies. Tyvek® 400 fabric offers an inherent barrier to particles as small as 1.0 micron, with protection integrated into the fabric without films or laminates that may degrade over time. Its durability surpasses that of microporous film fabrics, ensuring better barrier performance even after wear and abrasion. The garments are suitable for various applications, including lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The inseam length of the garments is 31-1/2 inches.
