Tyvek® 400 garments are composed of flash spun high-density polyethylene, which creates a unique nonwoven material available exclusively from DuPont. This fabric provides an ideal balance of protection, durability, and comfort, making it one of the leading options in limited-use fabric technology. Tyvek® 400 fabric offers a barrier against particles down to 1.0 micron in size, with its protective qualities built directly into the fabric itself, eliminating concerns about films or laminates abrading or wearing away. The durability of Tyvek® 400 fabric surpasses that of microporous film fabrics, ensuring consistently better barriers even after wear and abrasion. It is suitable for applications such as lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The garments feature an inseam length of 32-1/2 inches, making them a reliable choice for various tasks.
