Tyvek® 400 garments are constructed from flash spun high density polyethylene, resulting in a unique, nonwoven material exclusively from DuPont. This fabric provides an optimal combination of protection, durability, and comfort, making it one of the best limited-use fabric technologies available. Tyvek® 400 fabric features an inherent barrier against particles as small as 1.0 micron, with protection integrated into the fabric itself, eliminating the risk of films or laminates wearing away. Its durability surpasses that of microporous film fabrics, ensuring a consistently superior barrier even after exposure to wear and abrasion. Common applications for Tyvek® 400 garments encompass lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance and operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The garments have an inseam length of 28 inches.
