Tyvek® 400 garments are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene, creating a unique, nonwoven material available only from DuPont. This fabric provides an ideal balance of protection, durability, and comfort among limited use fabric technologies. Tyvek® 400 offers an inherent barrier against particles down to 1.0 micron in size, with protection built into the fabric itself, eliminating issues associated with films or laminates that may abrade or wear away. Its durability advantage over microporous film fabrics ensures consistently better barrier performance, even after wear and abrasion. Common applications for Tyvek® 400 include lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance/operations, spray painting, and general clean-up. The inseam length of the garments is 29 inches.
