These pliers are engineered with nylon 11 injection molded to the tool for maximum personal protection, exceeding international standards IEC 60900:2012 and ASTM F1505. They are 1,000-volt rated for "live line" applications, virtually indestructible, cut, abrasion, and impact resistant, and can withstand temperature extremes from -40° F to 158° F (-40° C to 70° C). Additionally, the tools meet stringent requirements for CAT C - cold impact rating, and every tool is 100% inspected, tested to 10,000 volts, and rated to 1,000 volts.
