Electrician splicer scissors are manufactured for exceptional performance and designed for heavy-duty use in telecommunications and electrical wiring jobs. The cutting blades measure 2 inches and are heat treated and ice-tempered for a longer lasting edge. The blade is serrated to minimize slipping when cutting wire, and the upper blade features notches for stripping 19 and 23 gauge wire. With an overall length of 5.25 inches, the blade can be sharpened, and the scissors boast a strong, tempered steel construction. They are capable of cutting Kevlar and fiber optics. Each pair is hand assembled to ensure optimum cutting performance and is available with patented Ergo Grip.
