The loose fitted respirator is designed for use without fit testing, accommodating facial hair and glasses without sacrificing safety. It features a fixed lens frame that prevents the lens from hitting the user's nose or optical aids. With an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 1000+, the airflow is fully adjustable via an air deflector system to suit personal preferences and eliminate fogging. All parts can be purchased separately for easy maintenance. The large viewing window offers exceptional downward and peripheral vision, facilitating both verbal and non-verbal communication. Optional peel-off lenses can be added for additional protection and to quickly clear the field of view. The respirator includes a soft, breathable inner bib and a long tuck-in collar for enhanced protection and upper body airflow, along with a deconable head suspension system and a disposable hood. Its padded interior features an adjustable ratchet system for a customized fit, improving user movement and comfort. The optional Comfort-Link™ system provides extra stability and optimum weight distribution. The breathing tube attaches easily to the respirator and swivels to prevent tangles; its centralized location assures even weight distribution. Two cape materials are offered: DuPont™ Tychem™ 2000 and DuPont™ Tychem™ 4000, with a Tychem™ breathing tube cover available to enhance longevity and cleanliness. The respirator can be equipped with either a bump cap or ANSI Z89.1 hard hat protection (EN397). Made in the USA, it is suitable for use in various industries, including welding, grinding, concrete cutting, general dust, woodworking, healthcare (patient care and laboratory environments), and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The kit includes the 17-010 T-Link hard hat assembly with the 17-713 Tychem 4000 hood, the 04-831 breathing tube, and the 03-601 HX5 PAPR assembly.
