The loose fitted respirator is designed for users who require no fit testing, accommodating facial hair and glasses without compromising safety. It features a fixed lens frame that prevents contact with the nose or optical aids, while the APF 1000+ airflow is fully adjustable through an air deflector system, reducing fogging. Maintenance is simplified as all parts are individually available for purchase. The respirator boasts a large viewing window that enhances downward and peripheral vision, facilitating both verbal and non-verbal communication. Optional peel-off lenses can be added to protect the visor lens and maintain a clear field of view. The soft, breathable inner-bib and long tuck-in collar offer additional protection and upper body airflow. It also includes a deconable head suspension system and a disposable hood, with a padded interior and adjustable ratchet system for a customized fit that promotes user movement and comfort. An optional Comfort-Link™ system provides further comfort and stability through optimum weight distribution. The breathing tube attaches easily to the respirator, swiveling to prevent tangles and maintaining centralized weight distribution. The kit includes a 17-110 T-Link bump cap assembly with a 17-712 Tychem 2000 hood, a 04-831 breathing tube, and a 03-603 HX5 backpack PAPR assembly. Two cape materials are offered: DuPont™ Tychem® 2000 and DuPont™ Tychem® 4000, with an optional Tychem® breathing tube cover to enhance the longevity and cleanliness of the breathing tube. Users can select between bump cap or ANSI Z89.1 hard hat protection (EN397). This respirator is made in the USA and is suitable for industries such as welding, grinding, concrete cutting, general dust, woodworking, healthcare (including patient care), laboratory environments, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
