The Loose Fitted Respirator is designed for use without fit testing, accommodating facial hair and glasses while ensuring safety with an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 1000+. It includes a choice of five anti-fog and scratch-resistant ANSI Z87+ (EN166) lenses: premium clear, green tint (shade 5), yellow, black, and mirror tint, and features a tear-off lens system that maintains a clear field of view. The air flow is fully adjustable via an air deflector system to suit personal preferences and prevent fogging, with air supply circulating throughout the head top to provide cooling. The fixed jaw design ensures secure cape attachment, and all parts are available for individual purchase for ease of maintenance. The respirator is ANSI Z89.1 certified (EN397) for head protection, equipped with visor hinges that open for easy team communication in non-respiratory hazardous environments. Additional attributes include a padded interior with an adjustable ratchet system and compatibility with the RPB Comms-Link™ in-helmet communication system, with a Vision-Link™ light option also available. Users can choose from Tychem® or Zytec® cape options, multiple breathing tube covers to prolong the breathing tube's life, and radiant heat options. Welding visors and cape options are offered to enhance the Z-Link's capabilities. The respirator features a deconable head suspension system and a disposable hood, is made in the USA, and is suitable for various industries including welding, grinding, concrete cutting, general dust, woodworking, healthcare (such as patient care), laboratory environments, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The kit includes the 16-110-12 Z-Link with 16-712 Tychem 2000 face seal, 16-810 safety lens, 04-831 breathing tube, and 03-603 HX5 backpack PAPR assembly.
