The Loose Fitted Respirator is designed for use without fit testing, allowing for the accommodation of facial hair and glasses while maintaining safety. It offers an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 1000+, along with a choice of five anti-fog and scratch-resistant ANSI Z87+ (EN166) lenses, including premium clear, green tint (shade 5), yellow, black, and mirror tint. The tear-off lens system provides a consistently clear field of view, while the fully adjustable airflow and air deflector system enhance personal comfort and reduce fogging. The air supply circulates around the head top, cooling the wearer, and the fixed jaw ensures a secure cape attachment. Individual parts can be purchased for maintenance and servicing, and the respirator is ANSI Z89.1 certified for head protection (EN397). The visor hinges open for easy communication in environments free from respiratory hazards. It features a padded interior with an adjustable ratchet system and is compatible with the RPB Comms-Link™ in-helmet communication system. Additional options include the Vision-Link™ light, Tychem® or Zytec® cape options, multiple breathing tube covers to extend tube life, radiant heat options, and welding visors that enhance the product's versatility. The deconable head suspension system and disposable hood offer added convenience, and the respirator is proudly made in the USA. This device is suitable for industries such as welding, grinding, concrete cutting, general dust, woodworking, healthcare (including patient care), laboratory environments, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The kit includes the 16-010-23 Z-Link with a 16-723 Tychem 4000 shoulder cape, a 16-810 safety lens, a 04-831 breathing tube, and a 03-603 HX5 backpack PAPR assembly.
