The Loose Fitted Respirator is designed for use without the need for fit testing, allowing individuals with facial hair and glasses to maintain safety without compromise. It features a large auto-darkening welding lens that has a 1.1.1 rating and a variable lens shade range from 9 to 13. The respirator provides an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 1000+ and includes replaceable impact and ADF lenses for ease of maintenance, with an optional magnifying lens available. A flip-up welding visor allows for optimal vision during grinding while maintaining respiratory protection, complemented by a clear replaceable grinding lens that is ANSI Z87+ (EN166) approved. The dual air distribution system enhances comfort and prevents lens fogging, while the Vision-Link™ light option further improves visibility. The aerodynamic shell design effectively directs fumes away from the user, and it comes standard with window blockers or optional shade 5 side windows to enhance peripheral vision. It includes a breathing tube holder on the cape to stabilize the helmet, with a flame-retardant (FR) breathing tube cover available to extend the life of the breathing tube. The system features a comfortable multi-adjustment head suspension that is ergonomically balanced to reduce fatigue, and an optional Comfort-Link™ padding system is available for additional comfort and stability. Weighing only 1.77 lbs (805 g) with the ADF and cape, it is 23% lighter than competing brands. The FR rated head cover and cape allow for easy maintenance and servicing, as all parts can be purchased individually.
