Current guidelines require HEPA filtration and necessitate that endoscopes be hung vertically to facilitate the drainage of excess fluid after cleaning. In response to requests from multiple facilities for a cart or cabinet capable of vertically storing Savary-Gilliard® dilators, which also possess an internal channel, Harloff has introduced a new endoscopy dilator storage cart. This cart incorporates a HEPA-filtered positive pressure drying system designed using the industry-leading features of scope drying cabinets. The HEPA filter effectively removes 99.7% of particles measuring 0.03 microns. It features a fully adjustable fan with a run time of 10 to 180 minutes, activating each time the storage cabinet is accessed, enabling vertical drying for up to 24 dilators that are 39" or shorter. The cart also facilitates easy in/out access for nurses and staff, while its durable medical-grade construction aids in draining excess fluid post-cleaning, thereby significantly minimizing bacterial growth. Key features include high-quality TENTE® casters, a choice of three locking options, soft grip dilator holders, and four Savary pull-out slides that accommodate six dilators each for convenient access to similarly sized dilators. Each storage cart can hold individual dilators ranging in size from 5mm (15 French) to 20mm (60 French).
