Current guidelines require HEPA filtration and necessitate that endoscopes be hung vertically to ensure that inner channels can drain excess fluid after cleaning. In response to multiple facility requests for a cart or cabinet designed to store Savary-Gilliard® dilators vertically due to their internal channels, Harloff has introduced the endoscopy dilator storage cart. This cart utilizes an industry-leading design with a HEPA filtered positive pressure drying system that effectively removes 99.7% of particles at 0.03 microns. It features a fully adjustable fan with a run time between 10 to 180 minutes, which activates each time the endoscopy dilator storage cabinet is accessed. The unit provides vertical drying and storage for up to 24 Savary dilators measuring 39" or less in length, facilitating easy access for nursing staff. Constructed from durable medical-grade materials, it aids in draining excess fluid following dilator cleaning, significantly reducing bacterial growth. The cabinet is equipped with industry-best TENTE® casters, offers a choice of three locking options, and includes soft grip dilator holders. Additionally, the design includes four pull-out slides, each capable of holding six dilators, ensuring easy access to similarly sized instruments.
