Current guidelines require HEPA filtration and mandate that endoscopes be hung vertically to allow for the drainage of excess fluid after cleaning. In response to multiple facility requests for a cart or cabinet to store Savary-Gilliard® dilators vertically, Harloff's design and engineering team has introduced a specialized endoscopy dilator storage cart. This unit features a HEPA filtered positive pressure drying system that removes 99.7% of particles down to 0.03 microns. The cart includes a fully adjustable fan with a run time of 10 to 180 minutes, which activates each time the storage cabinet is accessed, providing vertical drying for up to 24 dilators measuring 39" or less in length. It allows for easy in/out access for nurses and staff, greatly reducing bacterial growth by effectively draining excess fluid post-cleaning. The cabinet is constructed from durable, medical-grade materials and is equipped with industry-leading Tente® casters, offering a choice of three locking options and soft grip dilator holders. The storage cart can accommodate dilators ranging from 5mm (15 French) to 20mm (60 French) and comes with four pull-out slides, each capable of holding six dilators for convenient access to similar sized units.
