The kit includes caps designed to fit plain end culture tubes and flasks with DeLong style necks or ports. These caps are molded from durable, autoclavable polypropylene (PP) and feature internal ridges that provide a secure grip and allow for gas exchange. Available in five colors for easy sample identification and organization, these caps maintain sterility without the need for cotton plugging, thereby reducing sample evaporation compared to traditional cotton plugs. They provide the same evaporation and sterility benefits as stainless steel closures.
