These tubes and caps are specifically designed for the storage and transportation of biological material, manufactured from non-toxic polypropylene to provide both strength and clarity. The vials feature external threads which create a smooth and uniform inner surface that minimizes contamination risks. The polypropylene screw caps share the same coefficient of expansion as the tubes, ensuring a leakproof seal even under varying temperatures, thanks to an inner lip made from polypropylene. The caps are designed with a long skirt and a super-fast thread design, allowing for easy removal or sealing with a single turn. Options are available for the caps with or without a silicone O-ring and in a variety of colors. Screw caps are sold separately, ensuring flexibility in choice to suit different applications.
