These tubes and caps are specifically designed for the storage and transportation of biological material, manufactured from non-toxic polypropylene for strength and clarity. The vials feature external threads that create a smooth and uniform inner surface, reducing the risk of contamination. The screw caps, also made of polypropylene, maintain the same coefficient of expansion as the tubes, and include a polypropylene inner lip that ensures a leakproof seal even with varying temperatures. Notably, the caps are designed with a long skirt and a super-fast thread mechanism, allowing them to be easily removed or sealed with a single turn. The caps are available both with and without a silicone O-ring and come in a variety of colors, though the screw caps are sold separately.
