This sturdy, heavy-duty, high-capacity metal slide storage cabinet is designed for the safe, long-term storage of slide specimens, accommodating up to 4,500 slides per unit. Each cabinet features 6 dual slotted drawers, with each drawer capable of holding up to 750 slides. Up to 10 units can be securely stacked on a single base, allowing for a total storage capacity of 45,000 slides per stack. An interlocking system locks the stacked cabinet units together, ensuring stability. Each drawer is equipped with a brass pull knob and an identification card holder, with identification cards included. Foam blocks are provided to keep slides upright within the drawers, which are compatible with standard microscope slide dimensions of 25 x 75 mm or 3 x 1". The cabinets feature a chemical-resistant plastic powder coating and smooth sliding drawers, and are available in green, tan, and white.
