The kit includes caps designed to fit plain end culture tubes and flasks with DeLong style necks or ports, molded from durable, autoclavable polypropylene (PP). The ridges inside the cap provide a secure grip and facilitate gas exchange, while maintaining sterility without the need for cotton plugging. This design reduces sample evaporation in comparison to cotton plugging and offers the same sterility and evaporation benefits as stainless steel closures. The caps are available in five colors for easy sample identification and organization.
