The kit includes caps designed to fit plain end culture tubes and flasks with Delong style necks or ports, molded from durable, autoclavable polypropylene (PP). The caps feature ridges inside that provide a secure grip and facilitate gas exchange. Available in five colors, these caps enhance sample identification and organization while maintaining sterility without the need for cotton plugging. They also reduce sample evaporation compared to cotton plugging, offering the same benefits of evaporation control and sterility as stainless steel closures.
