This sturdy, heavy-duty, high capacity metal slide storage cabinet is an ideal solution for the safe, long-term storage of slide specimens, with each cabinet unit holding up to 4,500 slides. The cabinet includes 6 dual slotted drawers, each capable of holding up to 750 slides, allowing a total of 4,500 slides per 6 drawer cabinet unit. To accommodate larger collections, up to 10 units can be secured together on a single base for a combined capacity of 45,000 slides per stack. An interlocking system locks the stacked cabinet units together for added security. Each drawer is equipped with a brass pull knob and an identification card holder, with identification cards included. Foam blocks are provided to keep slides upright in the drawers, which are designed to fit all standard-sized microscope slides measuring 25 x 75mm or 3 x 1". The cabinet features a chemical resistant plastic powder coating and smooth sliding drawers, and is available in green, tan, and white.
