Globe's color frosted microscope slides are available in ten bright, attractive colors and come in three edge styles: ground, ground with safety corners, or beveled. The ground edge microscope slide features 90° corners and is designed for use in automatic cover slip machines. The ground edge slide with safety corners includes slightly clipped corners for safer handling, reducing the risk of finger and hand cuts. The beveled edge microscope slide is specifically suited for performing blood smears, with highly polished edges angled at 45° for a secure grasp during the smearing process. Each slide is printed with "Globe" under the frosting area for orientation, and all slides are pre-cleaned and ready to use.
