The kit is designed to fit plain end culture tubes and flasks with Delong style necks or ports, molded from durable, autoclavable polypropylene (PP). It features ridges inside the cap that provide a secure grip and facilitate gas exchange. The kit is available in five colors for easy sample identification and organization, allowing users to maintain sterility without cotton plugging, which also reduces sample evaporation compared to conventional methods. Additionally, it provides the same evaporation and sterility benefits as stainless steel closures.
