The kit includes caps designed to fit plain end culture tubes and flasks with Delong style necks or ports. Molded from durable, autoclavable polypropylene (PP), these caps feature ridges inside to provide a secure grip and facilitate gas exchange. They are available in five colors for easy sample identification and organization, maintaining sterility without the need for cotton plugging, thus reducing sample evaporation compared to traditional methods. Additionally, these caps offer the same evaporation and sterility benefits as stainless steel closures.
