The kit includes precision molded closures made from low-density polyethylene (PE), designed to fit firmly on tubes. These closures are sturdy enough to withstand most rigorous procedures, including centrifugation. The universal caps offer easy-on and easy-off use, allowing for simple and quick cap removal. They are ideal for recapping most 12mm, 13mm, and 16mm evacuated glass blood collection tubes. The flexible closures protect against aerosols of highly infectious microorganisms and are available in 8 colors for easy sample identification. Note that these caps are not suitable for autoclaving.
