The kit includes precision molded closures made from low-density polyethylene, designed to fit firmly on tubes and provide sturdy performance under rigorous procedures, including centrifugation. These polyethylene (PE) universal caps feature an easy-on and easy-off design for simple and quick cap removal. They are suitable for recapping most 12mm, 13mm, and 16mm evacuated glass blood collection tubes. The flexible closures effectively protect against aerosols of highly infectious microorganisms, and the caps are available in 8 colors for easy sample identification. It is important to note that these caps are not suitable for autoclaving.
