Made from precision molded low-density polyethylene, they fit firmly on tubes and are designed to withstand rigorous procedures, including centrifugation. These polyethylene (PE) universal caps offer easy-on and easy-off functionality, with quick and simple cap removal. They are suitable for recapping most 12mm, 13mm, and 16mm evacuated glass blood collection tubes. The flexible closures provide protection from aerosols of highly infectious microorganisms and are available in 8 colors for easy sample identification. Please note that these caps are not suitable for autoclaving.
