This sturdy, heavy-duty, high-capacity metal slide storage cabinet is designed for the safe, long-term storage of slide specimens, with each cabinet unit capable of holding up to 4,500 slides. It features six dual slotted drawers, each accommodating up to 750 slides, resulting in a total capacity of 4,500 slides per cabinet unit. The cabinets can be secured together on a single base, allowing for a total of 45,000 slides per stack, with interlocking systems that lock the stacked units together. Each drawer is equipped with a brass pull knob and an identification card holder, with identification cards included. The kit includes foam blocks that keep slides upright in the drawers, and the cabinets are designed to fit all standard-sized microscope slides measuring 25 x 75 mm or 3 x 1". The cabinets feature a chemical-resistant plastic powder coating and smooth sliding drawers, and are available in green, tan, and white.
