Globe Scientific's plastic culture tubes are available in two materials: polystyrene (PS) and polypropylene (PP). The polystyrene tubes are designed to withstand centrifugation speeds of up to 1500 RPM, while the polypropylene tubes can endure up to 3000 RPM and are both autoclavable and suitable for freezing. These tubes feature dual position snap caps made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE), enabling either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples.
