Globe Scientific's plastic culture tubes are available in polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP). The polystyrene tubes are designed to withstand up to 1500 RPM during centrifugation, while the polypropylene tubes can endure up to 3000 RPM, are autoclavable, and suitable for freezing. Additionally, the tubes feature dual position snap caps made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), which allow for either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples.
