Globe Scientific’s plastic culture tubes are available in polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP). The polystyrene tubes can withstand 1500 RPM during centrifugation, while the polypropylene tubes can sustain 3000 RPM and are suitable for autoclaving and freezing. The tubes feature dual position snap caps made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE), allowing for either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples.
