These specially designed pipettes feature an open end for use with high viscosity liquids, providing fast fill and release rates, and are typically utilized with oils, cosmetics, paint, sludge, food, and cell-culture applications. The attributes include a polystyrene (PS) fiber filter plug, sterilization by gamma irradiation, sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10-6, and a non-pyrogenic design. Each pipette is individually wrapped in thermoformed paper/plastic peel packaging, offering a safe alternative to glass pipettes. They are calibrated to deliver (TD) at +/-2% and comply with ASTM E934, while the industry-standard color coding meets ASTM E1380.
