Globe Scientific's plastic culture tubes are available in polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP) materials, with the polystyrene tubes capable of withstanding 1500 RPM during centrifugation, while the polypropylene tubes can endure 3000 RPM and are both autoclaveable and freezable. The tubes feature dual position snap caps made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), which allow for either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples.
