This sturdy, heavy-duty, high-capacity metal slide storage cabinet is an ideal solution for the safe, long-term storage of slide specimens, holding up to 4,500 slides per unit. Each cabinet features 6 dual-slotted drawers, with each drawer capable of accommodating up to 750 slides. The design allows for up to 10 units to be secured together on a single base, resulting in a total capacity of 45,000 slides per stack. An interlocking system locks the stacked cabinet units together, ensuring stability. Each drawer is equipped with a brass pull knob and an identification card holder, with identification cards included. To maintain the integrity of the slides, foam blocks are included to keep them upright in the drawers, and the cabinet accommodates all standard-sized microscope slides measuring 25 x 75mm or 3 x 1". The cabinet features a chemical-resistant plastic powder coating and smooth sliding drawers, and it is available in green, tan, and white.
