This sturdy, heavy-duty, high-capacity metal slide storage cabinet is designed for the safe, long-term storage of slide specimens, accommodating up to 4,500 slides per unit. Each cabinet features six dual-slotted drawers, with each drawer capable of holding up to 750 slides. To maximize storage, up to 10 units can be secured together on a single base, allowing for a total capacity of 45,000 slides per stack. An interlocking system locks the cabinet units together for stability, while each drawer is equipped with a brass pull knob and an identification card holder, with identification cards included. Foam blocks are provided to keep slides upright in drawers, which fit all standard sized microscope slides measuring 25 x 75 mm or 3 x 1 inch. The cabinet is finished with a chemical-resistant plastic powder coating and features smooth sliding drawers, available in green, tan, and white.
