Globe's color frosted microscope slides come in ten bright, attractive colors and are available in three edge styles: ground, ground with safety corners, or beveled. The ground edge microscope slide features 90° corners and is designed for use in automatic cover slip machines, while the ground edge slide with safety corners has slightly clipped corners for easier handling and to minimize the risk of cuts. The beveled edge microscope slide, which has highly polished edges angled at 45°, is particularly suited for performing blood smears as it facilitates a secure grip during the smearing process. Each slide is printed with "Globe" under the frosted area for orientation and is pre-cleaned and ready to use.
