Innovation for the long-term protection of precious samples is crucial, and Globe Scientific CryoClear vials offer a reliable solution with their innovative polyethylene (PE) screw cap co-molded with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), eliminating the risk of contamination and sample loss associated with separate O-rings. These cryogenic vials are designed for long-term storage at temperatures as low as -196°C and are lot certified to be human DNA free, RNase free, DNase free, pyrogen free, and ATP free. They are non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, non-mutagenic, free from heavy metals, and BSE/TSE free. Manufactured, assembled, and packaged in an ISO 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom, they are sterilized by beta radiation (SAL 10-6). The enhanced cap features a star socket for use with automated capping/decapping equipment, and the slim profile ensures better fit in racks and boxes. Each vial has a unique barcode for automated data collection, a white writing surface for specimen identification, and printed graduations for accurate measurements. The vials and caps are autoclavable, produced from medical grade raw materials that won't discolor after re-sterilization, with tamper evident packaging, and self-standing tubes that interlock with Globe workstation racks. Note that these vials should not be used in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen.
