Globe Scientific CryoClear vials are designed for the long-term protection of samples, capable of withstanding temperatures as low as -196°C. Each kit includes vials with an innovative polyethylene (PE) screw cap that is co-molded with a layer of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), ensuring leak-proof functionality while minimizing contamination risks associated with separate O-rings. These vials are lot certified to be human DNA free, RNase free, DNase free, pyrogen free, and ATP free, and possess attributes such as being non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, non-mutagenic, heavy-metals free, and BSE/TSE free. Manufactured, assembled, and packaged in an ISO 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom and sterilized by beta radiation (SAL 10-6), CryoClear vials feature an enhanced cap with a star socket for compatibility with automated capping/decapping equipment, a slim profile for improved fitting in racks and boxes, and unique barcodes for automated data collection. Each vial includes a white writing surface for specimen identification and printed graduations for accurate measurements. The vials and caps are autoclavable, produced from medical-grade raw materials, and will not discolor after re-sterilization. Additional features include tamper-evident packaging and self-standing tubes that interlock with Globe workstation racks, although they are not intended for use in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen.
