Globe Scientific’s plastic culture tubes are available in polystyrene (PS) and polypropylene (PP) materials. The polystyrene tubes can withstand centrifugation speeds of up to 1500 RPM, while the polypropylene tubes are capable of withstanding speeds of 3000 RPM and are both autoclavable and freezable. Additionally, the tubes come equipped with dual position snap caps made from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), allowing for either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples.
