Globe Scientific CryoClear vials offer long-term protection for samples with their innovative polyethylene (PE) screw cap co-molded with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), ensuring leak-proof storage while preventing contamination and sample loss. These vials are designed for cryogenic storage at temperatures as low as -196 °C and are lot certified to be human DNA free, RNase free, DNase free, pyrogen free, and ATP free. They are non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, non-mutagenic, heavy-metals free, and BSE/TSE free. The manufacturing process occurs in an ISO 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom and is sterilized by beta radiation (SAL 10-6). The enhanced cap includes a star socket for compatibility with automated capping/decapping equipment, while the slim profile design provides a better fit in racks and boxes. Each vial features a unique barcode for automated data collection, a white writing surface for specimen identification, and printed graduations for accurate measurements. The vials and caps are autoclavable and made from medical-grade raw materials that resist discoloration after re-sterilization. Packaging is tamper evident, and self-standing tubes interlock with Globe workstation racks. These vials are not to be used in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen.
