Innovation for the long-term protection of your precious samples is embodied in Globe Scientific CryoClear vials, which feature an innovative polyethylene (PE) screw cap co-molded with a layer of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). This unique manufacturing process ensures leak-proof capabilities while mitigating risks of contamination and sample loss associated with separate O-rings. Designed for optimal storage, CryoClear cryogenic vials can maintain sample integrity at temperatures as low as -196°C. Each vial is lot certified to be human DNA free, RNase free, DNase free, pyrogen free, and ATP free, and is also non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, non-mutagenic, heavy-metals free, and BSE/TSE free. The vials are manufactured, assembled, and packaged in an ISO 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom and are sterilized by beta radiation (SAL 10-6). Enhanced caps incorporate a star socket for compatibility with automated capping/decapping equipment, while the slim profile design allows for better fitting in racks and boxes. Each vial features a unique barcode for automated data collection, a white writing surface for specimen identification, and printed graduations for accurate measurements. Both vials and caps are autoclavable and made from medical grade raw materials that resist discoloration post-sterilization. The packaging is tamper evident, and the self-standing tubes interlock with Globe workstation racks; however, these vials are not to be used in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen.
