Globe Scientific CryoClear vials are designed for the long-term protection of biological samples, providing a reliable storage solution at temperatures as low as -196°C. Each vial features an innovative polyethylene (PE) screw cap co-molded with a layer of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), ensuring leak-proof performance and eliminating contamination risks associated with separate O-rings. These vials are lot certified to be human DNA free, RNase free, DNase free, pyrogen free, and ATP free, while also being non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, non-mutagenic, heavy metals free, and BSE/TSE free. Manufactured, assembled, and packaged in an ISO 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom, they are sterilized by beta radiation (SAL 10-6). The enhanced cap is designed for compatibility with automated capping/decapping equipment, and the slim profile allows for better storage efficiency in racks and boxes. Each vial includes a unique barcode for automated data collection, a white writing surface for specimen identification, and printed graduations for precise measurements. The vials and caps are autoclavable and made from medical-grade raw materials that resist discoloration after re-sterilization, packaged in tamper-evident materials, and designed to interlock with Globe workstation racks; however, they should not be used in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen.
