The 15ml centrifuge tube is made from acrylic, offering superior strength, chemical resistance, and scratch resistance compared to polystyrene alternatives. Designed for enhanced performance, these tubes can be spun at a rate of 5000 RCF (6,160 x g), which is twice the speed of their polystyrene counterparts. Each tube features flat-top, plug-seal leak-resistant screw caps made from high density polyethylene (HDPE), a large white writing area for clear labeling, and printed graduation marks for accurate measurement. The sterile tubes are certified RNase-free, DNase-free, and pyrogen-free, ensuring their suitability for sensitive applications. The dimensions of the tubes are 17 x 120 mm.
