The Globe Scientific CryoClear vials are designed for the long-term protection of biological samples, ensuring that your meticulously prepared specimens are safe from contamination and loss. Each kit includes high-quality cryogenic vials featuring an innovative polyethylene (PE) screw cap, co-molded with a layer of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), providing leak-proof security without the risk associated with separate O-rings. These vials are suitable for storage at temperatures as low as -196°C and are lot certified to be human DNA free, RNase free, DNase free, pyrogen free, and ATP free, as well as non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, non-mutagenic, heavy-metals free, and BSE/TSE free. Manufactured and packaged in an ISO 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom, the vials are sterilized by beta radiation (SAL 10-6). Each cap features a star socket for compatibility with automated capping and decapping equipment, while the slim profile design ensures an efficient fit in racks and boxes. Vials come with a unique barcode for automated data collection, a white writing surface for specimen identification, and printed graduations for accuracy. Both vials and caps are autoclavable and produced from medical-grade raw materials that resist discoloration after re-sterilization. They are provided in tamper-evident packaging and feature self-standing tubes that interlock with Globe workstation racks, although they should not be used in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen.
