Globe Scientific's plastic culture tubes are available in polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP). The polystyrene tubes are designed to withstand centrifugation speeds of 1500 RPM, while the polypropylene tubes can endure up to 3000 RPM and are both autoclavable and freezable. Additionally, these tubes feature dual position snap caps made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE), which allow for either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples.
