Globe Scientific's plastic culture tubes are made from either polystyrene (PS) or polypropylene (PP), with the polystyrene tubes capable of withstanding 1500 RPM during centrifugation, while the polypropylene tubes can endure up to 3000 RPM and are both autoclavable and freezable. The tubes feature dual position snap caps made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE), allowing for either aerobic or anaerobic storage of samples.
