Globe Scientific CryoClear vials are designed for the long-term protection of precious samples, ensuring their integrity during storage at temperatures as low as -196°C. The kit includes vials with an innovative polyethylene (PE) screw cap co-molded with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), eliminating the risk of contamination associated with separate O-rings. The vials are lot certified to be human DNA free, RNase free, DNase free, pyrogen free, ATP free, non-pyrogenic, non-cytotoxic, non-mutagenic, heavy metals free, and BSE/TSE free. Manufactured, assembled, and packaged in an ISO 7 (Class 10,000) cleanroom, the vials are sterilized by beta radiation (SAL 10-6). Key features include an enhanced cap with a star socket for automated capping/decapping, a slim profile for better fit in racks, a unique barcode for automated data collection, a white writing surface for specimen identification, and printed graduations for accurate measurements. Additionally, the vials and caps are autoclavable, made from medical-grade raw materials that resist discoloration after re-sterilization, and come with tamper-evident packaging. The self-standing tubes are designed to interlock with Globe workstation racks and are not intended for use in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen. The product is backed by a warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects.
