Designed for industrial, commercial, and farming applications, the AX series exhaust fan is a sturdily constructed, direct drive, horizontal discharge fan typically used for general ventilation of factories, garages, warehouses, and other industrial or commercial buildings. The AX fans are available in multiple single-speed variations as well as two-speed and variable speed models. The AX series housings are constructed of heavy-duty aluminum, equipped with built-in shutters that automatically open when the fan starts and close by gravity when the fan stops. Certain models are available with an optional DCVolt motor. Key features include sturdy all-aluminum extrusions, heavy wire chrome plated OSHA guards for 8" - 24" models, and grey powder-coated guards for the 30", 36", and 42" models. The fans are designed with totally enclosed air-over motors that feature overload protection, and models up to 24" can ship via UPS. Options available for the AX series include speed controls, thermostats, front guards, and weather hoods.
