The Visual Alert Paddle Out performs traditional paddles, regardless of lighting or weather conditions. State and local requirements determine appropriate paddle size and paddle reflectivity level. The kit includes paddles with flashing LEDs that provide earlier visibility than non-illuminated paddles, a stop legend utilizing red LEDs, and a slow legend utilizing amber LEDs. It is MUTCD compliant and operates in all weather conditions. The paddles come with manual on/off buttons, and the 18" paddles also feature an automatic on/off function when raised or lowered. The unit will operate for up to 65 hours continuously on 3 C cell batteries for the 18" version and 4 C cell batteries for the 24" version (batteries not included). The product includes a 1-year warranty.
