Because of the importance of monitoring newborns and infants, a family of pre-wired electrodes have been specifically designed with them in mind. The kit includes 2280 series electrodes with soft cloth backing and 2282 and 2282L electrodes that are radiolucent. These convenient prewired electrodes eliminate pressure points and false alarms caused by lead wire disconnections, ensuring reliable results with minimal skin irritation due to the conductive adhesive that provides excellent trace quality. Multiple lead wire lengths are available, making them suitable for monitoring neonates or infants.
